The aim of this functional space was to create a relaxing place for visitors to socialise at the show.

At the lower level, a seating area created a sunken effect and a sense of space with a cosy and relaxing ambiance. The modern bar with a pavilion made a striking focal point within the space as well as providing shade, entertainment and socialising opportunities for visitors. 

A strong link provided by the stepping-stones within the grass area provided easy accessibility between the compounds. The hedge and perennial planting simultaneously provided a private enclosure and an aesthetically appealing view from the busy surrounding area with the feel of an outdoor room.
